You cannot reliably identify a mold specie on a building surface by the naked eye.

Although there are many mold sampling types, we focus on primarily two.

The first type is a simple swab test. A swab of the mold is taken along with an approximate quantity and the mold sample is sent to the lab for specie identification.

The second type of sample is an airborne sample. This sample will collect the mold spores of various types which are airborne, travel in the bulding, and can be very bothering to the occupants.
